Yes. As a non-profit organization, Mahamevnawa Meditation Monastery, Florida is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Consequently, your contributions to Mahamevnawa Meditation Monastery, Florida are tax-deductible under U.S. tax regulations.

I made a donation to MMMF. How do I claim the tax deduction? Do I need a special form from MMMF?
At the end of each year we send automated receipt of all donations we receive from you over the year. We are using modern online accounting software to keep track of all our finances to insure utmost transparency. If you need a letter from our treasurer before the end of the year or for other purposes indicating the amount you donated, please send an email to treasurer@mahamevnawaflorida.org and we will get back to you in no time.
